GAME PLAN
Let's get started. I'm a die-hard Rams fan. I had season tickets both at the Coliseum and Anaheim Stadium for many years. And even photographed several games from the sidelines over the final two seasons before they moved. This blog was created after reading a newspaper column by Bill Plaschke in the Los Angeles Times Sports section (read it here) about the lack of identity for former L.A. Rams players. I decided to see how many Rams fans still have an appreciation for what the Rams meant to L.A. If you're a real fan, you've got stories to tell and opinions to share. Even if you're bitter about losing our team to St. Louis, air it out right here.

ISAAC BRUCE
Isaac Bruce played 14 seasons as a wide receiver for the Rams, and was the last remaining player in the league who played for the Los Angeles Rams. He spent his final two seasons with the 49ers, but was recently resigned by St. Louis so that he could announce his official retirement as a Ram. He set all of the Rams major receiving records, including catches, yards and touchdowns and is only one of six players in NFL history with more than 1,000 catches. Bruce was one of those dependable players who went out and did his job without complaining or drawing attention to himself. "I was taught to seek the praise of God and not the praise of men," Bruce said. "That's the approach I take." He was well-respected and will be remembered for his incredible talent and that great smile that lit up throughout his career. I watched him play for the L.A. Rams in their final season in Anaheim. The Rams will retire his #80 jersey in a ceremony during the upcoming season.

Cool site. Very rare to find old LA Ram fans on the net or in LA! Former Ram fan myself. Went to a lot of Ram games at Anaheim Stadium with my father, uncles, and friends when I was growing up in the 80's and 90's. I grew up idolizing Kevin Greene, Eric Dickerson, Henry Ellard, Jackie Slater, Jim Everett (80's Jim Everett that is), Jerome Bettis, etc. The 80's Rams were a fun team to watch growing up. Even though they were miserable to watch in the 90's I still did, and when Gloria packed up and left I was absolutely crushed. I always said I would never root for them again as long as she's the owner, then one day about 2 years ago my uncle (longtime Ram fan) called me out of the blue and left a message saying "The Bitch is dead! The bitch is dead!" and I knew exactly who he was talking about! Every time I hear pointless NFL to Los Angeles news the Rams name gets brought up and if they came back, I'd be first in line for tickets!
